Heat from power supplies and controller's. - Pauls - 01-03-2020 So I'm in the throws of building my first display. I have built a control panel that will be situated in my shed. It's a closed control panel that will house 2 power supplies 2 8 channel controller's and a 3 channel one. I'm now considering that there could be quite a build up of heat in the panel. How hot do the power supplies and controller's get when in use? Thinking of maybe fitting a fan top and bottom to draw air through it but could these cause interference? RE: Heat from power supplies and controller's. - Jane - 03-03-2020 You should be OK with these controllers as don't seem to get too hot. But you can put in a fan if you want to. Some controllers can get hot like the ethernet pixel controller and are best if in an enclosure with power supply to have a fan to circulate the air.
