Pumpkin face background

What material do you guys use for pumpkin faces.

We have found foamex sheets to be the best and easiest to use. However you can also use correx which is much cheaper, but we recommend you strengthen correx by gluing two sheets together, rotating the 2nd sheet so the 'grain' is 90 degrees to the first.
Add some battening around the edge of the foamex/correx for extra stength also.

Marine Ply is the other option but it splinters very easily when drilled.
